Integration meetings and international training for the implementation of solutions from the Spanish headquarters in Barcelona in the Brazilian subsidiary.
It was a five-day training process to understand, comprehend and apply the EdebéOn, mAuthor and Xtent applications.
For Xtent, we were trained by Edebé Spain's partner team for printed book production, CopyDrama.
At this meeting we also had a superficial look at what was being done with EdebéOnPlus, as well as the new technologies applied, such as AI (Artificial Intelligence) and others.
The main objective of this trip was to take part in the journey of the founders of the Salesians.
In Turin, Austin and Castelnuovo Don Bosco, a town in the province of Piedmont in the north of Italy, we got to know a good part of the journey of the founder of the Salesians, Giovanni Don Bosco or commonly known as Don Bosco.
From there we went to Mornese, Valponasca, Collegio, the first community of the Daughters of Mary Help of Christians, and Collegio Nizza Monferrato Mazzarello.
Then we went to Genoa to see part of where these founders went on their great missionary expeditions.
It was a very enriching trip, as well as producing high-quality photographic and visual material for internal documentaries.
The expedition, entitled “Boca de Jumenta”, was made by car with the following objectives.
To get to know the culture, gastronomy and people of these countries.
To improve our Spanish vocabulary in conversation with the locals.
To experience living in a vehicle and the limitations that this entails.
We came back from this trip with completely different conclusions from the worldview we have, such as how consumerist and unsustainable we are in our daily lives in urban society.
You're probably wondering why the expedition is called Boca de Jumenta, but I'll tell you two reasons in particular: one is because marketing such a different theme attracts a lot more interest from the public. Secondly, when Jesus entered Jerusalem before being crucified, he was greeted by all the Jews sitting on a donkey.
That's it, if you've enjoyed these adventures we're getting ready to do the second Boca de Jumenta 2 expedition from Brasilia to Alaska and Canada in 2026.
